I started with a beautiful piece of Rosewood and wanted to make a piece that was not round. I decided on hexagonal for the additional challenge, and the finished piece is quite striking. The thin rim and the multiple angles on the underside combine to make a very attractive bowl. The Rosewood grain is quite prominent throughout. Finishing oil and wax make this a food safe bowl.
