Plates and platters are shallower and frequently larger than bowls. They can be displayed on a table, vertically on a stand, or hung on a wall. As with the other categories of pieces, they can be made of almost any hardwood. Larger logs are usually needed, as are larger tools and equipment. However, the results are worth it. Plates and platters can be functional when given a food safe finish. I will be adding more pieces here as they are completed.
