This vessel was created from a Mesquite burl from Texas. Due to the irregular shape of the burl there are multiple holes and bark inclusions that add interest. Mesquite has a beautiful contrast between the light yellow sapwood and the rich brown heartwood. The finial on this vessel is also Mesquite.
